Join us in getting this Discipleship ministry off the ground!
God's given us a clear vision to build a 5 part structure that will house all of Straight Paths at Eden in one communal building. En Gedi House will include a central teaching/worship hall for study and worship, and a prayer room for dedicated and disciplined prayer, as well as, a communal kitchen/living area to share life together. Please partner with us in acitvely taking the Gospel to the many people who have "heard" about Jesus but do not KNOW Him personally and are still entrenched in fear and the deception. If you're interested in seeing a proposed budget, contact us here. If you want to receive updates and news as God brings this increased focus on intentional discipleship to fruition, please sign up to the right of this text! If you want to partner through giving financially, either give one-time through the "Give Vocation" button or subscribe to ongoing donations through the "Help Train Disciples" button!
How we’re already discipling disciple-makers:Intensive-Practical Discipleship: We live our lives together as disciples and disciplers. We pray together, study the Bible together, go out and share the Gospel together and work together. We want disciples to learn as they participate, not only in a classroom setting. We embrace and enjoy the classroom too, but not exclusively. We believe you only know the truth you live and we want to know the Word well!
Outreach: To keep strong in the Lord, we believe all disciples must learn to share, to give, to export what’s being poured into them by Jesus. We see obedience as absolutely key to growing into maturity in Christ. So, we take disciples to remote farming villages and get them opporutinities to teach, to pray for the sick, to lead worship and to help weed unbelievers’ fields or help them harvest. Going is key in our approach, as we see the Great Commission as personally motivating for all born again Christians. |
